Pro Swing Golf Terre Haute

This place was amazing! They truly take care of their customers to assure you enjoy your experience. Highly recommend.

This place is super convenient and fast to get a quick round in specially late at night. If they add food and dinks would definitely be a hit.

Since this was my first golf sim experience, I waited to write a review until I was able to compare it to another local alternative. My friend and I had a session at Pro Swing Golf a few weeks ago and the experience was very "vending machine" in a nutshell. It was unattended and automated. When your time starts the system turns on for you. If you are inexperienced, you're on the clock to figure out what you want to do while your money burns. When your time is over it shuts off automatically. I get it...there may be bookended groups scheduled for sessions...but overall the place feels more like someone's investment for an income stream than a business interested in the customer's experience. The bay is dim. I understand the projector needs a dark screen, but the "spotlight" on the ball was dismal. The mat had a worn groove on it where you had to place the ball. This produced inconsistent shots unless you teed up every swing. The top of the screen had broken foam and tangled netting where balls would get caught. There are zero amenities other than a restroom. No drinks or snacks. A '"don't get too comfortable vibe". Constrastingly...The same friend and I visited an alternative golf sim in Terre Haute yesterday evening. Night and day difference. There was staff present who gauged your interest and ability and set everything up quickly with the intent of improving the experience. They also served beverages directly to you. Tables and chairs...an inviting atmostphere. The bay was very well lit with no compromises to the screen image. It did not have a "money mill" vibe at all. We will not return to Pro Swing golf.

Upon arrival, we were moved off of Bay #3 to #2 and then to #1 simply because the previous 2 bays were not working. Once we actually got to playing on Bay #1, it was obvious that the launch monitor was very cheap, not calibrated, incorrectly mounted, or quite possibly all of the above. We had shots snap hooking 80 yards left with an Open club face and Out to In club path. We had a drive with 158mph ball speed and 16 degree launch carry 100 yards forward and then dive bomb straight down and right. I would advise anybody looking to use a golf simulator to avoid this business until a significant amount of investment and effort is put forth by ownership.

Amazing place! Great service. When I visited, the owner came out and introduced himself. He was very nice & thanked our group for choosing his new business. I had an unforgettable time & would definitely come again. I don't want my new favorite golf place to be busy... but credit where it's due.
