Overall it's a great course but some of the holes could definitely do with some upkeep especially when you have to play from a mat on one of the holes to tee off from. For the end of August to have to pay over $90 for a Twilight round is also pretty steep.
Oct 18- $116 all in with a cart. Par 70. 5600? yards from the whites. I've played here twice now. I absolutely love this place. A lot of dog leg holes. Simple yet beautiful par 3's. If I had to nitpick. Tee blocks aren't exactly level and usually have a mound in the middle. I can easily get over that. Go try this place out. You won't regret it.
I've been playing at the Richmond Hill Golf Club regularly for the past four years, and I can't recommend it enough. The course is consistently in great shape and the staff is fantastic. I especially want to give a shout-out to David, my son, who is now 11, has been taking lessons with him for the past two years, and the improvement has been incredible. David has a unique talent for breaking down complex swing thoughts into simple, understandable concepts that just click. His patience and ability to connect with his students are second to none. If you have a young golfer looking to learn the game, I recommend booking lessons with David. With my son we play from the yellow tees and depending on the group I’m with, we'll play from the whites or blues. The coarse plays completely different from each set of tees and they all have their unique challenges while remaining incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend playing here! Oh, and don’t be surprised when you cross paths with the resident turkeys!
The course is great. The back nine is very challenging . Not a beginner course!! Staff was very friendly. Pace of play was good. The greens are challenging . I noticed and watched alot of fresh divot that groups ahead of us left behind. Way more than other courses I’ve played .. maybe signage needed and Starter to mention to players.. I would definitely play it again.
2025 review The fairways are in pretty good condition this year, greens are soft and roll slow. The overall course conditions are alright. Seems like its getting better year by year. Its a decent middle tier course, and if you live in Markham, its only a 5 min drive. But the price is honestly way too high for a course like this. $112 prime time, $72 Twilight (these are walking rates, cart will be extra)
